RISE Award Categories for 2024

  Enter your Company for a RISE Award: 
  • Application of Digital Technology Award 
  • Employer of the Year Award
  • Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Award 
  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Award
  • Innovation Award
  • Partnership Award 
  • Safety Award  
  • SME Exporter in Rail Award (sub £50M turnover companies) 
  • SME Growth in Rail Award (sub £50M turnover companies) 
  • The Economic Contribution Award
  • Wellbeing Award 
Nominate an Individual for a RISE Award – there is no charge for nominations: 
  • Client of the Year Award
  • Employee of the Year Award
  • Rising Star Award 

Members £200 +VAT per award entry. 

Non-Members £350 +VAT per award entry. 


*RIA’s SME members with an annual rail turnover below £1m will enjoy a 50% fee reduction.

 
There is no limit to the number of entries you can make; you can make several different entries to each award category.  
Every unique entry you submit will be charged as a separate entry.

The company that submits the entry will be invoiced directly.

 

Deadline
The deadline for your Award submissions and nominations has been extended too Friday 26th April 2024, at 17.00. 

When will I know if my entry has been shortlisted? 
Shortlisted entries will be announced on the RIA website on Monday 13th May 2024.  

Where and when is the Award ceremony held? 
The ceremony will take place at The Landmark London, on Thursday 27th June 2024, from 6:30pm.

Can my company sponsor an award?
There are a range of sponsor opportunities available, please contact [email protected] for details. 

How to enter the RISE Awards?

Detailed Instructions for Entering COMPANY RISE Awards 

  • Enter via the form on the RIA website
  • Note that your 200 word summary will be published online if shortlisted. 
  • Word count must not exceed 1000. 
  • 3 supporting documents can be submitted which must not exceed 5MB file size and max 2 pages each.
  • Please clearly mark up any sensitive information that you do not wish to be mentioned in promotional material about your entry, should it be shortlisted.
  • After submitting your entry you will receive confirmation If you do not receive an email confirmation for your entry within 24 hours, please contact [email protected]
  • An invoice will be sent within two weeks of submitting your entry directly to the company that submitted the entry.

What happens if I’m shortlisted?
If your entry is shortlisted, your company should be prepared to attend the awards ceremony on the evening of 27 June 2024, in person.

Trophies
The winners trophy will state the name of the company that submitted the award entry. Please note if there are multiple companies listed on the entry the additional companies will not appear on the trophy.

Terms & Conditions 
By submitting your entries and/or nominations, you agree that: 
You are authorised to submit the entry or nomination on your company’s behalf. 
You agree to pay the entry fee of £200 +VAT for company awards for members or £350 +VAT for non-members (50% reduction for RIA member SMEs with <£1M rail turnover). 
The judges’ decisions are final. 
RIA may publish your entry 200 word summary via various channels including trade press, social media and websites.
No sensitive information will be published. 
The RISE Awards are open to all RIA member companies and also to non-member companies who are suppliers in the UK rail market or whose projects work with UK Rail Suppliers.
RIA reserves the right to change the award titles, criteria, and judging process.
